Every band needs a great bench of back-up musicians. The members below have either been a part of our original journey and/or are current second string heavy hitters that play in their own first string projects. You may catch and of them filling in with Blues in a Blender, and if not, check out their other musical projects and always support live music.
Our story
Blues in a Blender started with a couple guys that simply loved playing the music of the Grateful Dead, R&B, and Blues music. So much that they were found in parking lots of Dead & Company for aftershow parties. Over the years, it evolved into more of a pickup game with some great local musicians. from various other projects in the Maryland area. Members of bands like Better Off Dead, Great Northern - Out of D.C., The Cyphers Band, Dead Musicians Stew, Soultet, and many more. 2026 brings a new focus to the band, with an amazing lineup that's going to be bringing some deep groovin' music with new covers, originals, studio work and much more.
